U.S. Air Force Academy Cadet Chapel

Project: Rehabilitation of the Chapel, including:
- Replacement of exterior aluminum cladding panels
- Refinishing wood pews
- Replacement of curtainwalls and glass
- Repair of Dalles De Verre stained glass features
- Replacement of plaster
- Repair of Terrazzo floors

While working for LEO A DALY, I served with Michael Bjornberg as historic consultants to the General Contractor, JE Dunn. Our role was to help determine appropriate treatments for the historic components of the building. I wrote a historic treatment program which helped guide the means and methods for removing, storing, and reinstalling precious historic elements such as the pews and pipe organ components.
