I was the Project Architect that spent the most hours on the Minnesota State Capitol renovation 2012-2017. I touched every surface in the inside of the dome, 150 feet above the floor, evaluating the plaster condition. I crawled through every attic space to understand where the new HVAC system could be installed. I coordinated with the structural engineer to supplement the footings supporting the historic dome.
